CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

This position is open to a licensed/registered architect or civil engineer, who will provide professional management and technical services on large scale project in Lahore and will act as Emnay Design’s representative in the field with frequent interaction with stakeholders, contractor teams and other external parties. A majority of work will encompass comprehensive field site activities (work-arounds, remedial corrective actions, leading on-site inspectors who observe work in progress and document conformance to quality, performance, safety and code requirements and maintains inspection records. Successful candidate will conduct regular project review sessions with appropriate personnel to monitor the continuing progress of the project, and examining workmanship of finished installations for standard conformity and approving installation. Completing contract close-out processes, Implementing and following up on project and Emnay Design's safety procedures, providing technical advice on construction and design, and executing the prepared design documentation. Successful candidate will be using advanced knowledge in architectural and engineering principles, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractor firms by interpreting shop drawings, plans and specifications. In addition, candidates will be discussing deviations from specified construction materials and procedures with architect of record or supervisor. Determines requirements for work-arounds and remedial corrective actions.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant Architecture or Engineering discipline Licensed as a registered Professional Engineer (PE) 3-5 years of progressive construction management/resident engineering experience.

OPERATIONS + DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

The Emnay Business Development and Operations (EBDO) team is responsible for developing, acquiring and processing projects, conducting market research and following up on market opportunities. The EBDO team has an opening for a university student or recent graduate who is interested in the commercial side of our operations. In this position, you will be a first point of contact for the EBDO team in Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi (Pakistan). You will screen and administer potential projects, archive EBDO materials, and assist the team with small and large assignments. We are a group of high-performing, creative team players that thrive on individual autonomy and operation collaboration; our work culture mirrors that of a start-up, as we're working to enhance and scale Emnay Design's business operations and strategy.

In this position you will:

  • be a first liaison for enquiries
  • maintain continuous overview of the status of all potential projects
  • organize and administer potential projects
  • organize, administer and distribute requests from prospects
  • archive Business Development materials
  • assist with small and large assignments
  • occasionally translate business related documents

Requirements:

  • currently enrolled in senior year, or recent graduate from a bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, design, or related field
  • knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Products Suite
  • IT/database literacy
  • accuracy and hands-on approach
  • fluency in English
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • proactive, self-disciplined and confident in an intense environment
  • affinity with architecture and good knowledge of Emnay Design's work
